There’s not much to tell really. I paint, I draw, I spin images upon paper and canvas, and I do so compulsively. After many moves, jobs, and failed ventures I am back in the suburbs of Kansas City with my wife, three kids, three cats, a dog, and a fish.
I have been illustrating band posters off and on since 1993 and in that time
I have also done solo and group art shows; written, illustrated, illustrated
for friends, and self published several books of poetry and short fiction
(all of which are out of print and lost to the maelstrom); organized two ‘art
groups’ to promote local artists and all that entails, the most successful
of the two was ART WHORE in Lawrence, KS; since 1990 I have performed in bands
with names like WHERE’S GOMEZ, LURID, BOXHEAD, METHODS OF MAN, ABSINTHE,
KILL.POP. (did that one three times), T&A, TORSO and now my newest (and
most fun):THE
MEDICINE THEORY.
Currently I am working on various illustration projects and concentrating
on my watercolor work.
